OmeChat is a place for adults to have friendly, private conversations. These guidelines keep it safe and welcoming. By using OmeChat, you agree to follow them.
Respect other users
Treat everyone with courtesy. A friendly, respectful tone makes conversations better for both people.
Adults only
OmeChat is for adults aged 18 and older. Using the platform if you are under 18, or attempting to chat with someone you believe is a minor, is strictly prohibited.
No harassment
Bullying, intimidation, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact is not tolerated.
No hate speech
Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics is banned.
No threats
Threats of violence or harm toward anyone are never allowed and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
No illegal activity
Do not use OmeChat for anything illegal, including the exploitation of minors, fraud, the sale of illegal goods, or any other unlawful act.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your identity in a way that deceives or harms others.
No sharing private information
Do not collect, expose, or distribute another person’s private information without their consent.
No non-consensual recording or distribution
Recording, screenshotting, or sharing any conversation without the clear consent of the other person is a serious violation.
Report violations
If you see behavior that breaks these rules, report it using in-chat tools or our Report Abuse page. Reports help protect everyone.
Enforcement. Violating these guidelines can result in being blocked or removed from OmeChat. Serious violations, especially anything involving minors or threats, may be reported to law enforcement.
